PICC signature program

Second Opinion Center

A careful review for complex cardiovascular decisions, unexplained symptoms, or treatment plans that deserve another perspective.

Who this program helps

Start with the problem—not the procedure.

People deciding about a procedure, managing complex disease, or looking for greater clarity before moving forward.

  • Conflicting recommendations
  • A proposed stent, bypass, or valve procedure
  • Symptoms without a clear explanation

How PICC evaluates

Clarity before the next step.

PICC reviews the clinical story, original imaging when available, prior testing, and the patient’s priorities before offering a perspective.

Treatment approach

The outcome may be reassurance, further evaluation, medical care, intervention, or coordination with the existing care team.

Technology with purpose

Tools selected to answer a clinical question.

More technology does not automatically mean more procedures. The purpose is to add useful information to the clinical decision.

  • Multimodality imaging review
  • Coronary physiology
  • Intracoronary imaging

What to expect

A focused visit built around the decision in front of you.

01

Review

The team reviews symptoms, risk factors, medications, prior test reports, and original imaging when it is available and relevant.

02

Clarify

Testing is considered only when it can answer a meaningful clinical question or change the care plan.

03

Plan

The next step may be prevention, medical therapy, further evaluation, intervention, surveillance, or coordination with another specialist.
